| The Ryder Cup has become the most intense, nerve-racking experience in professional golf. Players have cried, cursed, danced, and hugged all in the same day. In its’ 74-year history, this patriotic event has thrilled millions of golf fans with overwhelming excitement and electricity. Every two years, the United States and Europe square off with their 12 best players in a three day team competition rivaled by no other sports event. The 2010 Ryder Cup returns to European soil and will take place October 1-3, 2010 at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales in the United Kingdom. The event will be played on a newly-constructed course dubbed the “Twenty-Ten” course. |
